Always dreamed of strutting your stuff but never done anything about it?

Weekend Warriors is for middle-aged musicians (35's and over) who used to play in bands but gave up, or who wanted to play but never dared. We will place you into groups based on your musical preferences, and take you through a number of rehearsal sessions at Silent Hill Studios before getting you up on stage to perform live in a rock concert. We organise everything for you, all you need to do is turn up!

What does Weekend Warriors involve?
Once we have received your application form and cheque (payable to the Live Performance Workshop) you will be invited to an open evening at Andertons in Guildford where you will join other warriors and form your new band. You will then have 4 rehearsals at Silent Hill Studios (these will be on Sundays) where you will practice your chosen songs, and a final gig for family and friends at a venue in Guildford.

During your rehearsal sessions you will be supported by experienced tutors who will offer practical advice and ensure that everything runs smoothly. They will help you prepare for the final gig.

What does it cost?

Weekend Warriors costs £149 per person. This includes enrolment at Andertons Music and a discount card to use in the store throughout your involvement with Weekend Warriors, 4 rehearsal sessions at a local rehearsal studio and a gig played to family and friends at a venue in Guildford. All musical equipment will be supplied by Andertons Music.

Once you have printed it off, filled it in and sent it to us with your cheque for £149 (payable to the Live Performance Workshop) we will be in touch to confirm the date for your enrolment evening.

Please note refunds are only applicable with a minimum of 2 weeks notice prior to enrolment.

Weekend Warriors is run with the backing of the MIA (Music Industries Association).
