Howard
Johnstone is head of guitar at the Live Performance
Workshop. He also gives private and group guitar lessons
in Farnham, Surrey for all ages, styles and standards.
He has been teaching for
20 years and has written chord songbooks for Blur, Oasis,
Bon Jovi and Wet Wet Wet as well as being the author of
the "Ultimate Guitar" series and presenting
a weekly guitar slot on the radio.
Recent live work includes the Forum, Party in the Park
and headlining at the Camel Rock Festival with his band
"The Gary White Foundation." As well as playing
with top function band MIB, he has taught on the degree
course at BIMM and has composed and performed music for
the latest Levi's jeans advertising campaign.
He teaches electric, acoustic, bass and classical guitar.
